New England Consulting Partners Celebrates 25 Years of Turnaround Management Solutions
PrZen/33626818
BOSTON - PrZen -- July 2001 was a pivotal year for Thomas V. Desmond CPA, MST, Principal-Managing Partner of New England Consulting Partners (NECP). It was the year he took the skills and resources he had honed over the course of his career to the next level and founded the company. Having grown longstanding relationships in the accounting, financial, information technologies, and human resources industries, NECP has become the leader in its field for corporate turnaround and crisis management through hard work and dedication to their clients.
With growing staff and locations in Boston, Dallas, Boca Raton, and Detroit, as well as internationally with an office in Poland, the company would like to express gratitude to their clients and colleagues for contributing to its turnaround success over the past 25 years with more than 200 companies and is looking forward to continuing to provide CEOs and entrepreneurs with valuable services including 13-week cash flow projections, bank negotiations, and refinancings for years to come.
As the firm celebrates its 25th anniversary, Mr. Desmond reflects on creating meaningful change and delivering impactful results for over 200 companies, "Ours is a field that is wrought with stressful situations that can go either way. By listening to our clients and educating them in matters of finance, cash flows, and accounting, we have transitioned hundreds of clients to stable ground over the years. On the other side of that coin are the lessons we have learned from our clients, for which we are grateful." While stress is a factor in all business turnaround transactions, some of the key attributes to success lie in negotiation, prioritizing situations, as well as humanizing the employer and staff relationships within each company NECP helps, all while managing stakeholder expectations.
In celebration of the company's milestone year, partners and colleagues were treated to the NECP annual luncheon earlier this spring, which celebrated a quarter century of delivering effective turnaround management solutions and reflect the firm's appreciation for the trusted relationships built throughout its history. This year's event was held in May at the University of Massachusetts Club. In addition to showing appreciation for partners and colleagues, NECP and Mr. Desmond support a variety of organizations making a difference globally. Earlier this summer Mr. Desmond was honored to receive the Vincent HoSang Family Foundation Humanitarian Award for his work in consulting with some of the organizations in Jamaica the foundation supports. In addition, his work in educating Ukrainian students in the turnaround industry continues, providing valuable experience and skills to the next generation of Ukraine's business and industry. Closer to home, Mr. Desmond and his team support the local communities they work in by assisting with youth sporting programs and providing financial education as well.
Another milestone in NECP's 25-year history is the expected release of Mr. Desmond's first book early next year. The manuscript, which is currently in editing, will be geared toward educating young entrepreneurs on starting and running successful companies, with true life examples of situations and practices that can make or break a business.
Mr. Desmond would once again like to thank his amazing staff, colleagues, and clients for being an integral part of the company's success, allowing the 25th Anniversary milestone to be achievable.
