Independent Researcher Combines Open-Access AI Research, Federal Policy Engagement and Free Educational Resources
JERSEY CITY, N.J. - PrZen -- Satyadhar Joshi, an independent researcher and educator, has received a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Social Impact Leader of the Year category in The 23rd Annual International Business Awards® (IBAs).
The 2026 International Business Awards received more than 3,400 nominations from organizations in 82 nations. The Social Impact Leader category recognizes individuals whose work contributes to social or public benefit through research, education, policy, or community engagement.
Joshi's recognized work includes research and educational resources addressing artificial intelligence, workforce development, financial systems, and public-sector applications of emerging technologies.
The Bronze Stevie Award follows other recognition Joshi received in 2025 and 2026. In November 2025, he received a Silver Globee® Award for Impact for work related to AI integration in education and workforce policy. In April 2026, he was named a TITAN Business Award winner in the Training category for a video-based workforce training initiative supported by research and educational content.
As part of his research activities, Joshi has submitted public comments through Regulations.gov to more than 10 federal agencies on topics including artificial intelligence, workforce development, healthcare, education, and technology policy. The submissions include comments directed to agencies and offices including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Department of Labor (DOL), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
Some of the submissions have received responses from federal agencies or have been incorporated into publicly available agency records. On March 30, 2026, the CDC issued a response concerning a submission addressing the use of generative AI in public health surveillance. A separate technical submission to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission concerning AI and human reliability analysis is available in the agency's ADAMS records.
Joshi has published research addressing artificial intelligence applications in education, workforce development, and financial services. His work is available through academic and public research platforms, including NASA's Astrophysics Data System (ADS), the U.S. Department of Education's ERIC database, and Science.gov. Five of his reports are indexed in ERIC.
The award recognizes a body of work that combines academic research, participation in public policy processes, and the development of accessible educational resources. The official winners list is available through the International Business Awards Individual Category Winners page. https://iba.stevieawards.com/awards/IBA-Winners/2026/Individual-Category-Winners.
