Vancouver Community College Forms Strategic Partnership with PebblePad

TELFORD, U.K. & VANCOUVER, British Columbia - PrZen -- PebblePad, the ePortfolio for Higher Education, is pleased to announce a new partnership with Vancouver Community College (VCC) as a preferred learning provider for BCNET. This collaboration is designed to support VCC's commitment to student success, learning innovation, and equitable access to education.

VCC has chosen PebblePad to enhance its ability to deliver flexible, personalized, and competency-based learning experiences. The platform will be used across a range of initiatives, with early adoption focused on the School of Trades and Health Sciences.

Initial use cases include:

• Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR)
• Micro-credentialing
• Development of personal learning plans in culturally responsive programming

VCC will leverage PebblePad tools and services to serve its strategic priorities in several key areas:

• Student success & learning innovation: PebblePad will support innovative teaching and learning practices that help students document and reflect on their learning journeys.
• Sustainability & internal capacity: VCC is focused on building a self-sustaining model for ongoing support and implementation of the platform.
• Privacy & security: PebblePad's platform will be integrated in accordance with VCC's IT protocols.
• Equity of access: Companion mobile app PebblePocket will provide offline access for students, which is especially important for those in rural and remote areas.
