NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - PrZen -- Unreasonable Kids College announces a full summer of entrepreneurial, educational, and advocacy-focused summer camps:
Business for Equality: How to Build a Business for Good will take place at Tidewater Community College's Chesapeake Campus from June 21 to June 24, 2022, for kids ages 8 to 12.
Youth for Equality: How to Release Your Voice for Good at Tidewater Community College's Virginia Beach Campus will take place from July 5 to July 8, 2022, for kids ages 8 to 12.
Art for Equality: How to Use Your Art for Good will take place at Tidewater Community College's Norfolk Campus from July 11 to July 14, 2022, for kids ages 8-12.
In addition to these, there will be a summer camp at Old Dominion University's Brooks Crossing Innovation Lab. How to Become an Unreasonable Kids to Change the World will take place from July 18 to July 22, 2022, for ages 6-10.
Speaking on a previous Unreasonable Kids College camp, one parent said, "I am grateful for all of these [programs] that encourage students to think critically about being problem solvers in the world. Student thoughts and ideas are valued and encouraged. These [programs] have been fantastic for my 7-year-old daughter. They are age-appropriate, motivating, engaging and throw a spotlight on opportunities to develop positive solutions to critical issues."
There will also be two week-long in-residence camps at Bay Atlantic University for kids ages 13-17. The first, Social Entrepreneurship Youth Camp, will take place from July 24 to July 30, 2022, and the second, DC Environmental Advocacy Youth Camp, is from July 31 to August 6, 2022.
Unreasonable Kids College founder and CEO Ateba Whitaker says, "The goal is to train youth to become leaders through social entrepreneurship activity and advocacy to change the world for the better." For the complete list of summer camps, visit www.unreasonablekidscollege.org/camps.
