Simpson and Reed Co-Founders Shardé Simpson, Esq. and Ciara Reed, Esq. Launch "Hello Wilma,"
PrZen/33603093
"Hello Wilma" is bringing industry-level legal access to all creators.
ATLANTA - PrZen -- Simpson and Reed Co-Founders Entertainment attorneys Shardé Simpson, Esq. and Ciara Reed, Esq., whose experience includes work on projects involving artists such as Jay Z, Meek Mill, Rod Wave, and Vic Mensah, have launched Hello Wilma, Inc., a music-industry–focused legal access platform designed to give creators early access to professional, industry-standard legal protection.
Built as an early-intervention resource, Hello Wilma provides creators with access to professionally drafted producer agreements and practical legal education tailored specifically to music and entertainment deal structures. The platform is designed for artists, producers, and independent creatives who are making career-defining decisions long before they can afford traditional private legal representation.
As the creator economy continues to grow, lack of early legal access remains one of the most common—and costly—industry challenges. Creatives routinely enter binding agreements without fully understanding ownership, royalties, credits, or intellectual property implications. By the time legal counsel is sought, leverage and rights have often already been lost.
"Too often, artists don't lose opportunities because of talent," said co-founder Shardé Simpson. "They lose ownership and income because they didn't have access to legal guidance at the moment it mattered most."
Hello Wilma offers agreements at launch for $50 per agreement, with expanded bundled options planned for release later this year. The platform is not intended to replace full legal counsel, but to help creators protect themselves earlier in their careers—before damage occurs.
Hello Wilma is grounded in the real-world industry experience of its founders. Simpson began her career at Roc Nation, rising through A&R Administration and Business & Legal Affairs, where she negotiated agreements, registered master recordings, and worked on major-label projects. She later served as Vice President of Operations at Dream Chaser Records, the label founded by Meek Mill in partnership with Roc Nation.
Co-founder Ciara Reed, Esq., is a Billboard-recognized music attorney with more than a decade of experience supporting Grammy-winning artists, producers, and entertainment companies. Before practicing law, she worked as a child actress earning her SAG-AFTRA card.
Reed has been trusted on complex deals for recording, publishing, brand partnerships, and film and television projects. She is known for her detailed contract work, practical negotiation style, and strong relationships. Reed is also a proud mother of three.
"The industry often treats legal protection as something that comes later," said Reed. "But for creators, later is usually too late."
Hello Wilma reflects a broader belief shared by its founders: legal protection should not be a luxury reserved for celebrities. It should be a necessity available to anyone creating value in the industry.
