CLEVELAND - PrZen -- Pieter Bouterse, founder of the renowned event décor firm Pieter Bouterse Studio, has announced plans to retire after more than 43 years in business. The repeat clients include many benefits for major non-profit organizations with relationships that span, decades. Design and logistics layouts are the backbone for private client events as well - weddings, celebrations of all sizes and denominations in locations around the northeast corridor have provided the word-of-mouth basis for the studio's portfolio expansion. Bouterse's trend-setting design vision and extensive global sourcing of premium perishable products and high-end inventories have cemented the studio's status as an icon in the Northern Ohio region and beyond.
"It has been an absolute honor and delight to create personalized celebrations for our incredible clients over the past four decades," said Pieter Bouterse, reflecting on his upcoming retirement. "Being able to get up every day, knowing that we have earned the trust of our clients to actualize unique and personalized celebrations for some of the most important moments of their lives, has been profoundly fulfilling. I am immensely grateful to our clients, industry partners, and dedicated staff for their trust and friendship. Now it's time to pass the torch to someone who will cherish this studio's legacy and continue delivering excellence for years to come."
To ensure a smooth transition and sale of the business, Bouterse has enlisted the services of Jim Myers of GearWorks Capital to search for a new owner. Myers will handle inquiries from interested parties - contact Jim Myers at (216) 600-8665.
