New Professional Association to Study Principles of Hospitality Applied to the Delivery of Healthcare

LAS VEGAS - PrZen -- The Association for Hospitality in Healthcare (AHIH), a new professional association committed to the discovery, review, and dissemination of evidence-based information on how hospitality services can enhance the patient experience in the delivery of healthcare, was announced today.

Headquartered in Las Vegas, a destination widely regarded as the epicenter of hospitality, AHIH will be a resource for healthcare networks and systems, clinicians, educational institutions, and suppliers interested in enhancing the patient experience through the study of:

• Application of principles of hospitality to the delivery of healthcare
• Equitable and convenient access to healthcare
• Coordinated and timely delivery of healthcare
• Demonstrated beneficial outcomes
• Environmental design factors
• Operational and service protocols

Founded by Constantine George, MD, a practicing physician with 20+ years of experience delivering exceptional patient care in Las Vegas. The Mission of the association reflects Dr. George's commitment to service excellence and core values of humility, hospitality, respect, integrity and accountability…many of which he believes are absent in the delivery of healthcare today.

AHIH will collaborate with members of both the hospitality and healthcare industries and educational institutions throughout the country on the development of its research, educational symposia, and professional certification programs.
