Summer Camp Students will Perform the Full Production on the Mahaffey Stage
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - PrZen -- The Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts, benefitting The Mahaffey Theater, is thrilled to announce performances of The Little Mermaid Jr., produced and performed by the talented students of the 2nd Annual Summer Camp through the Mahaffey Class Acts Program. After three weeks of dedicated preparation, the young performers are ready to bring this beloved tale to life on stage.
Join us for two enchanting performances:
"Over 60 students have been involved in this endeavor," said Katrina Young, Class Acts—Education and Outreach at the Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts. "The kids work so hard to perform, and it's wonderful to see it culminate into a full-scale show that showcases their hard work these past three weeks. They're especially excited to perform live on our stage—some for the first time."
The public is invited to experience this magical journey under the sea as the young cast brings the enchanting world of Ariel, Sebastian, and all their underwater friends to life. This production is a testament to our community's youth's creativity, dedication, and talent.
Tickets are available now and can be purchased through the Mahaffey Theater box office or online at www.mahaffeytheater.com. This is a unique opportunity to support our young performers and enjoy a delightful rendition of The Little Mermaid Jr. Don't miss out on being a part of this community effort.
