Latino Leaders Network to Host Cafecito Series Honoring Xolo Maridueña, Star of Netflix's Cobra Kai

WASHINGTON - PrZen -- The Latino Leaders Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to "Bringing Leaders Together", will host the Cafecito Series, a new digital platform aimed to educate, inspire, and prepare the next generation of leaders through the stories of iconic Latino leaders.
This online event, hosted by Chairman Mickey Ibarra, will include a panel discussion on the importance of equity, inclusion, and authentic representation of Latinos in Hollywood.
WHAT:
The Cafecito Series will honor actor Xolo Maridueña, best known for his role as Miguel Diaz in the Netflix hit series Cobra Kai, with the Rising Star Award on Thursday, March 25, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. ET.
The event will feature an intergenerational conversation with actors Xolo Maridueña and Tony Plana, moderated by Voto Latino President and MSNBC News Contributor María Teresa Kumar.
Program participants also include Latino Leaders Network Chairman Mickey Ibarra, former Texas State Senator Leticia Van de Putte, and emerging Latinx leaders featured in the Our Stories Move Us Forward: Then, Now & Tomorrow video campaign.
The virtual broadcast will reach a national audience, including elected officials, policy makers, corporate executives, opinion leaders, community activists, industry experts, and political insiders.
