How Kallie Boxell Helps Texas Companies Solve the Talent Equation
PrZen/33583807
DALLAS - PrZen -- With labor shortages still affecting industries across Texas, recruitment director Kallie Boxell is helping businesses find and retain the right talent—one placement at a time. Based in Dallas, Kallie leads permanent hiring efforts for a staffing agency serving major markets including Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and the DFW Metroplex.
"We're not just filling jobs. We're finding the right match," Kallie stated. "When a company brings in someone who fits the role and culture, it changes everything—from performance to retention."
Her recruitment team has doubled in size under her leadership, growing from four to eight recruiters in less than a year. That growth reflects the demand for experienced hiring professionals who can move fast and still get it right. With job openings across Texas still above pre-pandemic levels, staffing needs remain high—especially for hands-on roles that can't be done remotely.
According to the Texas Workforce Commission, private employers in the state added more than 400,000 jobs in 2024. Yet many businesses continue to face challenges finding qualified candidates. Positions in logistics and skilled trades often sit open for weeks or months. Kallie and her team work to close those gaps, often shortening the hiring timeline by offering focused candidate outreach and strong follow-up support.
Kallie's career in recruitment began with a focus on IT. At a previous firm, she placed developers, cybersecurity professionals, and help desk staff at some of the country's top tech companies. That work required attention to detail and strong communication—skills that still serve her today in high-pressure hiring environments. She also spent time recruiting in the healthcare field, matching physicians and nurses to roles that required fast, reliable placement.
These early experiences across different sectors gave her a wide lens on hiring. "I've seen how important the right hire is, whether it's for a hospital, a data center, or a warehouse," Kallie said. "It's not about the job title. It's about understanding what that person will actually do every day and finding someone who wants to do it well."
Kallie's leadership now includes managing a team of search consultants, supporting business development, and helping shape hiring strategy for the agency's Texas operations.
Outside of her day job, Kallie stays active in the Dallas community. She volunteers with local programs and supports her children's sports teams. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and enjoys running and reading in her free time.
As Texas continues to grow, the need for reliable, strategic hiring has never been greater. For companies looking to stay competitive, Kallie Boxell offers a steady hand and a clear approach to solving the talent equation.
