Beachfront Lookout Recognized for Excellence in Modular Coastal Home Design
EAST LYME, Conn. & WESTERLY, R.I. - PrZen -- Connecticut Valley Homes, an award-winning custom home builder serving Connecticut, Rhode Island, Block Island, and Fishers Island, has once again been honored with the Home of the Year Award under 2,500 square feet by the Modular Home Builders Association (MHBA). The 2025 award recognizes the firm's exceptional design and construction of its Beachfront Lookout, a modern coastal home built using precision off-site modular construction.
The Home of the Year award is presented annually to recognize outstanding achievement in modular home design and construction. Entries are submitted by builders and manufacturers nationwide and evaluated for design, innovation, quality, and overall excellence.
Beachfront Lookout:
This 1,980-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bath coastal retreat was designed to embrace its oceanfront surroundings while delivering durability, efficiency, and low-maintenance living. The home features a bright, open floor plan that preserves sweeping water views from nearly every room. Engineered for its waterfront setting, the home is elevated above base flood elevation and includes impact-rated windows and doors for enhanced protection. Two expansive outdoor decks constructed with weather-resistant materials extend the living space outdoors.
"We are incredibly honored to receive Home of the Year once again from the Modular Home Builders Association," said Amanda Anderson, General Manager of Connecticut Valley Homes. "This recognition reflects the dedication of our entire team and our commitment to building homes that are not only beautiful but thoughtfully designed for the environments in which they live. We are especially grateful to our homeowner for trusting us with their vision."
The homeowner of the award-winning Beachfront Lookout shared her appreciation following the announcement:
"I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Connecticut Valley Homes for the incredible work you did on my home. Winning Home of the Year has made me even more grateful for your time, care and craftsmanship. Thank you for your exceptional work and attention to detail as it shows in every part of my home. I appreciate all you more than you'll ever know and I'm so glad I chose CVH to build my home."
Since 1981, Connecticut Valley Homes has built more than 1,700 custom homes throughout coastal and island communities in Connecticut and Rhode Island. The company exclusively uses off-site modular construction, allowing for superior quality control, reduced construction timelines, and consistent building standards year-round.
