Award Includes $5,000 in Unrestricted Support for the Agency
FORT MYERS, Fla. - PrZen -- The Sally J. Pimentel Deaf & Hard of Hearing Center (DHHC) proudly announces that Executive Director Amy Turner was honored with the 2025 ENPY Partnership Builder Award from The Community Foundation. She was recognized recently during the annual ENPY Awards celebration at the DoubleTree by Hilton Fort Myers at Bell Tower Shops.
The ENPY Awards—short for Excellence in Nonprofit Performance Year-Round—recognize nonprofit professionals across Southwest Florida whose work reflects sustained leadership, measurable results, and a commitment to strengthening the communities they serve.
Presented annually by The Community Foundation, the awards highlight individuals who elevate nonprofit performance and contribute to a nonprofit community that strengthens quality of life and expands access to essential services.
The Partnership Builder Award honors a leader who brings organizations together to create stronger solutions and expand impact.
In addition to the recognition, the award included a $5,000 unrestricted grant supporting DHHC's mission.
"This recognition means a great deal to our organization," Turner said. "It reflects the dedication of our staff, board, and community partners who support our work and mission. Unrestricted support allows us to provide vital services, including quality interpreters, specialized equipment for the hard of hearing, and sign language classes for families throughout Southwest Florida."
The ENPY Awards continue to spotlight leaders shaping a more connected and collaborative nonprofit community.
